Hotel Reviews - Index of Hotels We Have Stayed In Across India
Reviews of hotels in India in various cities. Places we have stayed in
Over the past few years our travels have taken us to several of India's best-known tourist destinations — Delhi, Mumbai, Goa, Kerala (Cochin, Munnar, Kumarakom), Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Srinagar and Leh-Ladakh. The reviews below are based on personal stays only. Travel India Smart is not affiliated with any travel or commercial enterprise, so the views are entirely our own.
Each hotel now has its own dedicated review page. Click any hotel name below to read the full review.
Delhi
- Hyatt Centric Delhi (Janakpuri) — 24 nights, January-February 2024. Central location, comfortable rooms, mixed check-in experience.
- Radisson Blu Hotel Dwarka, New Delhi — July-August 2023. Distinctive circular design; service did not match the five-star price.
- Radisson Blu Hotel, Connaught Place, New Delhi — central Delhi business-district stay.
Mumbai
- Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach — 7 nights, January 2023. Direct beach access, attentive staff, excellent dining.
Goa
- ibis Styles Goa Calangute — November 2022. Three-star price, four-star feel; clean rooms, two pools, secure parking.
Kerala
- Manor Backwater Resort, Kumarakom — quiet backwater stay with private boat tour through the resort.
Rajasthan
- Rang Mahal Hotel, Jaisalmer — palatial property, well-maintained, friendly staff.
Srinagar (Kashmir)
- Hotel J H Bazaz, Srinagar — November stay. The most disappointing hotel we have encountered; small, cramped and in an area not safe to walk after dark.
